You sure that is a write off?? 

 

Looks repairable to me and being a mk1 it's value would probably outweigh the repair costs.

Not my car or video.......but if it was mine I would not let the insurance company have it and no way would it be a write off.

Exactly. and even if the insurance company got involved, it's a wing, front panel, inner wing maybe, chrome work and possibly some A pillar/panel repairs...I've repaired much worse.....just  a shame the same couldn't be said for my clubman....but that is another story ;D
