For the last three months I've had nothing but let down from this company...

From the beginning.

Bought a three year old cub on scumtree. Engine was damaged and in general it needed work. The car had been iva'd and correctly registered.

This was built at the factory and used as the demonstration car.

I contacted mr Andersen to try and buy some parts and hood sides.
For three months I've had nothing but time wasting and failed returned calls. Don't expect ANY after sales care if you have one of these cars!
I've only tried to buy parts... that's right send him money and he sends me parts.

Now for the car...

The rear suspension is on custom high lows. the shocks are the only thing that holds the cones in place by limiting the drop. Similar to some scamps but on mine the rear rubber cone mounts were only tacked in place. They had for gotten to fully weld them!
The hi-lows were uneven length. To hold the suspension together they wind the suspension up hard to it constantly rides the shock top. Yup failed shocks

Dangerously the steering rack was held in place with exhaust u bolts. Seriously from the factory this had exhaust clamp bolts holding the rack in place. The old rack was binned as it had cracked the casing where it was tightened up to stop lumping around.

Fixed now but no thanks to AMC

Good cars if you build them yourself.

At time of update I've still had no return contact from AMC!

I have pictures and information and they will be submitted in due course.

A good car if built at home and you don't need help from mr Andersen.
