I am hoping to fit a custom Dash Board in my 1982 HLE 1000. Here are my thoughts and questions for your expert opinions / comments if I may.
1. What material do you recommend - plywood? if so what thickness I guess it has to ben a little?
2. I was going to cover it with some thin foam and vinyl.
3. How do you secure it in place?
4. I have the factory fitted twin cluster instrument panel, do I take the outer shroud off and slide the dash over the instruments and then re-fit the shroud?
5. Anyone got any pics of a step by step build?
I found the plans on here somewhere and have stashed them somewhere?
