Hey, 

 

  lease If you can let me nkow. which type of things i should check before i buy classic mini? I am from sri lanka. Which type is engines are good? i saw some forms also, EFI or CARB. i really dont nkow muck about mini. but im trying to nkow. i want to buy mini. i have a dream from my childhood :gimme:And how is Mini for Long trips. it's very importent to me becouse i like to travel. So if you can please give me advise?  :proud: And Sri Lanka Mostly Have 1960 model? is that ok?

Which type of thing i should check?

If you lived in the UK i would say first check your bank balance (Minis can be expensive to buy or repair) & then check for rust, more rust, & even more rust! It's probably the same for Sri Lanka. New & second hand parts for the Mini are still available -but it's no good putting new parts on a rusty car.

It would be a good idea for you to join the Mighty Mini Club of Sri Lanka http://www.mightymini.lk/about-us/ they will know of any good cars for sale.

The 'Mighty Mini Club of Sri Lanka' looks to be very active with about 400 members. if you're not already a member would be worth joining. Club members are often a valuable source of local advice.
