Hi;

Now that my car is finally on the road I am thinking I need to get some added security?

What steering lock would you guys n girls recommend?

What about locking the bonnet?

Or should I look at some other plan?

Its a 1982 Austin HLE 1000

I'd go for a Disclock, very difficult to remove without the key and a good visual deterent too

Yep that's the one, i think the small one would be fine for a mini. I got the large type off eBay for my Morris traveller, pretty cheap too, but will get one for the Mini when it eventually emerges from the garage - along with a decent alarm system too

I was thinking of getting one of these but I can't find them for sale anywhere :-)

Seriously though I will be fitting an In Car Computer with the ability to fit a motion detector to which I may rig up something similar for a laugh (no swearing of course)!!
