Whats the best engine to go for if i want to turbo it? Ive been told a 1.4 k series is best with a metto gta gearbox.

Any help

Why don't you just buy a rover 75 1.8 turbo and rob the engine from that? Would also use a pg1 gearbox

Ah thanks would a watsons subframe be in need to make that fit?

Could use an all speed frame and modifie it to use a pg1 gearbox or make your own subframe

What engine do you have now? For cost/performance/fitment ease the 1.8 vvc makes a very fast mini.

The turbo engine with the normal mods is another step again however

There is no easy way of doing a K Turbo in a mini, there is a fair amount of fab work involved

But it would be an easier start, as said above, to get a 1.8T from a 75 / ZT
