On a very slightly sideways to switches being dangerous -

I'm ex fire service. I was at an RTA with a Metro Mk.1 parked the hard way in a garden wall. It had an old fashioned 2 column stock and push button radio mounted in the dash. It broke free on the initial impact and squarely hit the passenger right in the middle of the forehead. Left a perfect imprint. Someone must have turned his volume button down, at the start he was fairly vocal, next time I looked round he was temporarily turned off on the ground..

Moral of the storey is that anything unsecured can have a varied effect on an impact.

Good job his nose never hit the EJECT Button......the cassette could of took his head off!!.....deffo if it was a CD :goaway:  :goaway:  :ohno:

The seats are dangerous ! one evening I had both seats up and for some unknown reason when I had one leg under each facing the rear seat they both fell onto my calf muscles, but thats another story, back to the toggle switches

I've found plenty of room in a minivan to err "love the love of my life" ...procreate...for want of a better but obscene word ;D but awkward in a mini saloon,to many "protrubrences " ie...rear ashtray, handbrake, rear seat platform, front seats....oh and them bloody toggle switches..........nah....MINIVAN ANYDAY

^^ yeah, Better watch out for the "TS Tactical Squad",Their known for stopping any old BL/Rover Classics and impounding any toggle switches.

I believe they (TSTS) hold boot sales at Burscough Bridge once a month, when all guilty t switch hoarders are compelled to buy new rocker switches(at exorbitent prices) and have a team of police autosparks  on call to fit them.

I was going to "LIKE" your post sonikk4......but I just got a banner.."you have reached your quota of positive votes for the day" :D

So I'll have to say it here

I got told you/Pilots can get/switch at least 10 toggles with one swipe of your foot (to save putting your coffee down) much better than rocker switches imop ;D

I have some toggle switches on the instrument panel of my Ka6CR sailplane - Oh dear  ;D .

But it has a C of A so it must be OK.

Seems like we've run out of things to say - about the OP's original question. Time to move on?
