Not pretty but better than the rust and be ok once cleaned up (you can also see remains of welds from a badly fitted repair panel)

That's about as far as ive got welding wise a need to get an oxy bottle sat so I can finish the welding

Was going to tack weld (have joggled the edge on the infill panel) and fill but was recommended some metal glue so might try that.

One things for sure the sunroofs going.

This was never meant to be a full strip down but as its nearly stripped last weekend I just pulled the engine and stripped the rest

Cleaned and painted up my front subframe which is a sorepoint as later I discovered it was slightly twisted so in the scrap bin it will go

Couple more weeks past and more keying up and four coats of cellulose Primula yellow on the underside

So now ive just been trying to get everything back together

 

Gave the engine a good clean up at work

Also fitted the wiring loom after wrapping up and both master cylinders
