Hey guys,

I'm putting the a-panels onto my mk1 over the next couple of weeks... I have the outers on, and am about to to the inners.

As the panels go on, they seal off a couple of voids where I'd ideally like to get as much rust protection as possible. Has anyone used waxoyl or similar in this situation? Does it work well? I'll keep it well away from any welds as it obviously won't help there!

Also what's best to use? I know Waxoyl is still around but I assume there are better products by now... something brushable would be nice in this application so I can carefully control where it goes.

Cheers,

Chris

The bilt hammer dynax is really good. Comes in big aerosol tins, it's easy enough to control, theres a thinner version for box sections and a more abrasion resistant for elsewhere. Think the latter one comes in clear and black.
