It seems as though mini's and resurrecting them is about to start again with this 1982 austin 1000 hle ( previous thread on hear the stuffed crust hle ) from SILVE1999.

http://www.theminifo...fed crust hle

Now in my ownership. It was delivered from my m8 dave yesterday afternoon been off the road since 2015. Welding wise it needs both sides inner and outer sills front slam panel,a panels few patch repairs with sheet metal and drivers door bottom.

I jump started her yesterday and got her running, today she received new oil and filter, plugs, leads, condenser, points, fuel filter fresh fuel and a tweak of the carb. Sounds great. She also drives and stops.

Plans are to get the panel work done then rattle can the car to freshen up the paint. Get it all electrically sound then look at interior. The car will be for my missus for work.

After that i cleaned up the metal a bit and cleaned the work area just a little cleaning up of metal ready for welding in new panels then onto the drivers flitch panel and a panel.

I would not be happy to get underneath that car with the way you've got it in the air. I'd have the rear on the ramps with the handbrake on and the front on stands. The way you have it at the moment, I'd be terrified of it rolling back if working on the body and falling off the rear stands.

Got the front floor repaired then fitted the drivers door step then fitted the outer half sill. Got to late to grind down welds. Also need to replace the flitch panels so sill end and floor repair still need finishing up here. 20170110_200458.jpg20170110_200506.jpg20170110_224343.jpg20170110_224316.jpg20170110_224417.jpg
