Anyone have or seen them fitted in a mini before?

Thanks.

No but they're the nicest looking seats I've ever seen!

Yes, I have fitted them to rally Minis.

You need to weld in a cross bracing made from steel angle, I use 2" x 2" x 1/4" thick and weld it to the inner sill and centre tunnel, with a support plate on the tunnel made from 2 mm thick steel sheet.

At the front you can make up an additional support to go across the existing cross member.

Once mounted the Mini is then a 2-seater as those seats don't have adjusters in order to comply with MSA/RAC regulations.  You also must fit 3 or 4-point harnesses as diagonal belts don;t work with those seats. All motor-sport requires full harness belts.

" All motor-sport requires full harness belts"

Not strictly true, road going sprint/hill climb classes don't, 12 car rallies, autotest classes and various other club based events, the javelin sprint series doesn't.

You used to be able to buy adjustable seat mounts to mount under this type of seat - I used one on my Cobra's driving seat.
