Out of interest would an M10 aluminium rivnut be Ok to earth battery cable?

The contact area between the Rivnut and metalwork it's fitted to is only small, so while it would work, you need to be mindful as to how much current you put through it and if a high current (ie, cranking), do so only for very short periods, allowing some time in between for the heat to dissipate.  Also, being Aluminium, if fitted to steel, there will in time be some corrosion here and it will end up a poor connection.

I feel a Bolt, Nut, Flat Washers and a 3 mm plate about 20 - 25 mm square would be a better way.

Pricey!
Could make one for a fraction of that.

Could, but weighing up the time and effort to make it. Could get one with a warranty

Looking on Youtube. Didn't realise DIY bluetooth ammo speakers were a 'thing'. Might give it a go!

Ammo box, couple of speakers and some sort of little Bluetooth amp, less than £100 easily! No point going mad for sound quality in a mini haha.
You can also hard wire it that way rather than relying on a battery.

Earth point all done. Drilled through the chassis box section, sanded the surrounding area to bare metal and then m10 bolt through.

Nice work as always, what's with the odd angle on the shock absorber?

Think of might be the hydraulics at full height or the top mount is further back than a mini. Never really noticed it. I will be addressing that area at the top mount at some stage - a slight mod coming Soonish.

Decided to do a half hearted entry to the 'most rusty' catagory. Think I'll get a loud horn and some bass bins for next time.

Oh well, I can see all of these kits being hard mounted. Looks like the holes on the carb have been milled out a bit, to either take the flange welded to the charger or to take bigger bolts. Do you think I should get those gaskets with the o ring built in then?

Maybe ask about this with the guy who does the Superchargers?

A little update on the hard mounted Weber - Spoke to Stuart Gurr the other week and O rings or misab's are no good for this set up. Fuel pools in the recess. So not an option for me. Anyone want to buy a pair of misab plates and thackery washers  :D
