Can someone help me with front shocks. I know they have to be a 1.9 ID 7 inch spring 400 pound. We don't have anything like that in the USA. I see you guys sell them in the UK. Can anybody suggest a part number or actual shocked they can recommend. Thank you

Sure you will find some over there. They are common but I don't know any Motorsport parts suppliers out there.

Here is a UK supplier

Oh and try 1 7/8" rather than 1.9" you might have better luck.

I have found the springs in the UK but don't know exactly which coil over shocks to purchase. Thank you

You will need to see what the manual says.

It should state a few measurements. Fully open length. Fully closed length. And the stroke.

Then you will need to spec the end fittings as well.

Is the 7" the sorting length or one of the shock lengths?

And do you have to use 1.9" I'd springs? I have on the rear but not on the front. But I built mine to suit what I had.

I have a set on there already but they have gone bad. Leaking from bottom And bottoming out. Z car says 400 pounds I have 275 pound springs on now. Z car also says 7 inch springs

Then you have everything you need to work out exactly what you need to order.

Or just get them serviced.

What springs did you use at the end? There seems to be very different set ups out there.

I would recommend 200lbs/ft 7" long for std ride hight and 6" to go lower.

Protect shocks seem to be a very good option an now you can get them adjustable in bound and rebound.

Cheers
