I didnt really know where to ask this question, but im struggling to add pics on here. Previosuly I have added them through photobucket, but I just find it takes an eternity to do, and photobucket seems to be the slowest website in the world.

 

Is there really no other way of adding pics? Cant I just upload direct from my laptop?

You can attach photos to posts yes. I think there are limits on filesize and possibly px size.

This is because we arent here to host thousands of images in full resolution as it would cost an extra fortune to run this forum.

If you edit your pics to meet the forum requirements you certainly will be able to upload.

how on earth do you do it then? ive been on this forum for years and I cant figure it out?

 

if I click on the icon with the little tree, it opens a little window and its asking for the URL? surely that means it has to be on the net somewhere?

You can upload them straight from Facebook by copying the image URL into 'image', which is just below the smiley face on the left hand side.

Right click on the pic, and click on copy image URL, or image address.
