I know this is a forum for proper Minis but, the mother in law has a 2010 MINI Clubman diesel and she's just been to visit and has got this yellow 'A' warning light on. It goes out but she says it's only just started coming on.
Anybody got any ideas what it's for? Thought I'd ask here before I go to the dark side of Mini2.com ;-) Can't find it on google either.

Many thanks

That's usually the symbol for the auto start/stop isn't it?

Even a diesel bini can't do that at 850rpm, that's the average speed since the mfd display was reset but don't let me spoil a good internet lynching.

There's this thing that comes with all new cars, usually found in the glovebox, called an owner's manual - if you read it all will be explained!  :proud:

If it can't be found in the glovebox this is because many car manufacturers now only provide an electronic version of the owner's manual incorporated into the vehicle's onboard infotainment system.

Yes, but so far MINIs still come with a book.......

Remember when they launched the new expensive Hyundai? It came with an iPad for the owner's manual......

Thanks folks, much appreciated.

You obviously haven't met my mother in law. "What owners manual" is what she'd say! ;-) Plus the car is seven years old so, the handbook will have been lost about six years ago :-)
