Clubman Estate Shock Absorbers Question

Give them a call Cal, they do all sorts.
OK mate, I will do it now :)
For reference when talking to them, from the Centre of the Eye on the bottom, to between the Rubbers on the top, Extended length is 410 mm and Compressed length is 255 mm.
Just check with them how the measure them as I've sound some manufacturers work to mounting lengths and some to body lengths.
I would not recommend you go any shorter than 255 mm in the compressed length.

I need a set of shocks for my clubman estate, I think I could use standard height front shocks but need the pickup rear, or do I just use standard all round???
Thanks guys

Unless they have longer bump stops on them.

Makes little difference other than than not letting the wheels droop as much.
Unless they have longer bump stops on them.
Perfect mate, standard shocks it is then :)

Hello all, me again!!

I wouldn't recommend standard length shockers in a Van / Estate / Pick-up or Moke.
The Trumpets are (or should be) longer. Fitting shorter saloon type shocks will allow the rubber cone to bottom out harder on the subframe, leading to broken trailing arm pins.

So I need van shockers?
The van rear shockers are only available as an adjustable shock?

When I last looked a couple of years back, they were all I could find too.
Search around as there maybe something else around.

Even after raising the rear to higher than standard to lug things about, and then again after running the rear end decked out with quarter inch clearance between tyre and arch

Give your sizes to Protech, I asked them ages ago, they said they'd make them up to whatever size you want.

Have just looked on their site, its only coilovers they build? All I need is a standard(non adjustable) set, I can buy standard front shocks no problem, but the estate/van rear shocks are only available in the UK as adjustable

I wonder if they're only adjustable to compensate for differing loads ?
