Is £4000 alot to ask for a used half engine with no warranty? with block, omega pistons, good quality crank and rods? Also with Sc gears with atb diff. No head. I would have thought £1500 - £2000 max

Unless it's a swiftune fancy forged bottom end then someone's trying to have your pants down.

So it is not a half engine. It is a power unit less head? Or block and box no flywheel ......

Still sounds a lot.

It also depends what the block is and what the gearbox is.

Depends how fancy everything is
Can't say because the description of the engine is very vague hopefully e answers all my question then we shall see if it's worth it
But machine work on a crank can be expensive
Aswell as blocks mods e.g. Swiftune main caps and line boring
And etc so at 4 g it may be cheap however personal if I was spending that I'd rarther spend the extra and have a new build with new and low mile parts
