Morning all,

just a real quick one, looking to pull my engine out to sort 2nd gear crunch, can the engine be lifted out with the exhaust/inlet manifolds in place? Is there not enough room to clear the exhaust? I have a lcb manifold fitted.

i know its only 5 nuts but the 2 under the inlet manifold are so fiddley to get to!

thanks in advanced.

I know that you can lift it out with the original manifold connected but I'm unsure about LCB's

I'd remove it just so it didn't scratch anything

No it needs to come off the head, as the y piece is set too far back to clear the bulkhead.

Cheers both,

i thought as much, but im not worried about scratches as the bay will get a full clean/spray while its out.

thanks

100% take it off, just took out my engine with LCB, i just unbolted itfrom the head and left loose and moved it out of the way while lifting out the motor.
