Hey, I'm looking into sorting out the inside of my mini and would appreciate any input, or ideally pics of the interior of white minis.

I'm trying to decide between all black with classic style bucket seats. Plain but classy (maybe hot in summer? maybe not so comfy??)

Or I also have a friend who does seat covers, so keeping standard seats - so any colour option is possible, we were thinking maybe a deep red colour for the seats.

At the moment I have (dirty) cream seats with brown door cards and carpet, which looks alright in my opinion - maybe it looks strange to everyone else - unfortunately the seats are just about to wear a hole through the backs from something inside the seat which pokes into my back. We can probably sort this out if going down the recovering option. Anyway, it's about due a change

If I had the choice it would be like you said a nice deep red. Or maybe tan.

I agree, a nice deep red would look great!

I've got 2 white minis and both have navy interiors, which I think works really well. I would say that though.
I'll drag some pics out.

One of my favourite minis though is one with the reg E3 FUN I think. In mini mag, and at the Mini festival at brands last year. A white mini with loads of red accents and a lovely red interior.

They'd be my two votes.

Joe

You pretty much have complete free choice with having a white exterior... so you can go with anything you desire.

Personally I would go down the completely (every single item/panel) bright red route (which is what I am currently doing on my daily EP3).

G'Racy - Yes, they're some old (60's or 70's?) Cibie foglights my dad used to have on his mini back in the day! The brackets were custom made, but cheapish, by a mini company just south of Derby which probably shut down as this was 15 years ago - they look simple enough, a bolt under the bumper and one behind the grille I think.

If you're interested I'll take a couple of snaps

I'm not too hot on anything too bright, including tan really. Tan is definitely a classic look, but I'd probably get oily fingerprints on it!!

I've been having a search online and found some nice examples. I do like the black, as it's a bit more 'timeless' but I think it might look a bit plain with my interior. The problem is lots of these cars have a Mk1, centre console setup which just looks so good anyway!

Red seats black carpet? Or will any kind of change be worth it!?

Buzzword, yes if you wouldn't mind a couple of pictures that would be great. As regards the colour of your interior as a previous poster said anything will work with white. Black interior always looks good in my opinion but deep red or tan is different. I'm hoping for a full burgundy leather interior out of a mini 40 for my grey mini when funds allow and when I can find one.
