Ok here the fairly recent one i have and you can see the curve
 
 
 
I tried to define it against the other doors i have in the workshop but all of the bottoms are shot so no joy there.

We're on about two different panels here, but the same area. I'm on about link below has better picture than minispares. Which after asking sellers they confirm they are straight when there should be a curve, so just cheap repair panels. But good to know the ones your on about have the correct shape well possibly correct shape.

Ahh all becomes clear, apologies. I must admit I have never ordered that panel as most of the doors I have repaired have needed work running up the frames.

Just to add something else to the mix here, my car is a MK3 Clubby. The bottom of the door frame has a pressing in it which you can not get a repair section for. I don't think in the grand scheme of things it matters too much but if you want originality then something to bare in mind.

I made my own and then form the pressing to mirror the original. Personal choice as it goes.
