According to the instructions they both seem to do the same thing to surface rust, just wondered if anyone had used either or both and which does the best job.

I could make a comment but this would only be my personal opinion....
The advantage I have found with Bilthamber being a British Company is that you can phone and ask for help.
Tell them the duty or problem you have and one of their Technical Managers will tell you what to use (or if busy will call you back) - brilliant service !!
This, apart from the stuff works is the reason I pick their products, you can't beat good customer service.

As above. I've used both and found similar results, however, I do like the fact I can get in touch with bilthamber easily.

+1 for Bilthamber products. To remove surface rust from a panel to be welded I've used Deox. I reckoned plug welding to clean rust free metal with a coating of weld thru primer is preferable to having a rust converted sandwich in the mix. It would take several years to find out the answer though.

I should have rung Bilthamber's tech line to find out.......

Thanks for the replies guys.

I'm looking at treating a few patches of surface rust in the arches where the protection has been chipped off.

I can't rate Bilt Hamber products highly enough. I've regularly used Deox C and Gel and Electrox zinc primer, and also got a couple of cans of Dynax S50 for the box sections. Not the cheapest but i suppose you get what you pay for.
