I want to bolt the coil of my son's A+ engine to the two threaded holes on the flywheel housing that are in line with but forward of the holes for the clutch slave cylinder.

The thread is different to that for the slave cylinder bolts - does anyone know what it is?

Thanks in anticipation.

Any threads into the aluminium on a Mini engine unit are UNC and into steel UNF, course and fine.

Only use bolts 3/4" in length or shorter!
