Why is leak off pipes pressurising an blowing of pipes and leaking diesel? 2003 1.4

Welcome to TMF, this isnt the right place for that sort of question, your asking questions about modern cars on a classic forum in the section designated for asking questions about the forum no about cars.

 

how ever i will move the thread to a relevant area, but you will get a faster response from a forum dedicated to the BMW mini. 

 

could you tell me wether the info when you signed up wasnt clear enough as its fairly obvious that we dont deal with BMW minis, if it wasnt clear please let one of us know so we can rectify.

Why is leak off pipes pressurising an blowing of pipes and leaking diesel? 2003 1.4

 

Injectors might be at fault, not opening properly perhaps?

As the name suggests the fuel going into the leak off pipes does so fairly slowly and under no pressure, if one injector is at fault and chucking fuel in under pressure the pipes will fly off.

 

Alternatively you could have a perished pipe thats collapsed and is blocking the return line.
