I'm having my Cooper front end rebuilt and need some ideas on what colour to do the engine......

 

Any ideas?

I like the yellow you've already suggested, it goes well with the body colour but I don't know how difficult it would be to keep clean.

I do like the yello and as you say probably hard to keep clean, fortunately it's not a daily driver so shouldn't get to much road dirt just oil I guess.

I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of their engine colours in red engine bays?

If its not a daily driver I'd go for it. You regret the things you don't do more than what you do and its not impossible to repaint the block in situ if it starts looking at mess further down the line.

Montpelliervanman did his engine in a really nice shade of yellow, there's  a pic on here but I can't find it just now.

As promised this is the Red paint used for Engine i my Sprite I got it on eBay but

their address and email is on label,
