I have put a new boot floor in the rear using a genuine heritage panel. The problem is the new panels are for an injection car because the hole for the fuel lines is a large oval as opposed to the two holes for the carb fuel lines. I have made a plug up to weld the fuel injection hole up and I plan to drill the original holes in for the normal carb fuel lines. Would any one know the measurements so I could drill the fuel pipe holes out please, as the original floor was to badly deteriorated to take any measurement off ? Or do you have any other suggestions ?
Also could any one provide me with the measurements so I would be able to weld the front and rear brackets on for the handbrake. When welding the front one on I know it only has a few spot welds in. Is it common practice to copy this or to strength it up with spot-welding and seam welding it on.
Thanks for your help in Advance
