Was surprised after being registered here for 10 years that I still can't post a classified. Think it might be an idea to go on time served OR post count? Surely being here for a decade beats someone hammering 150 posts of nonsense in a week? It's just denying the world of the S Works I want to put up for sale, you know it makes sense :)

You need 150 posts or become a TMF+ member. It only costs £5. Just click on subscription on the home page and away you go.

Although weirdly my post count never seems to go up? It's stuck at 38 posts - whats that all about? :)

Sometimes depends on the section you post in.

This comes up every now and then and the answer is always no!!
Ages ago we had a load of issues with people joining up just to sell stuff, things weren't as described, stuff wasn't sent and it turned into a nightmare for all concerned.
We introduced the 150 posts or TMF+ as a reaction to these problems and to date it's been hugely successful for all concerned.
The rules mean that people need to make a significant contribution to the forum via the 150 posts or a £5 contribution via the TMF+ membership. In the event of an issue we have the start of of a paper trail to help the buyer.
It's very very very very very very unlikely these rules will be changed anytime soon(certainly not while I have anything to do with it), TMF is a very safe platform to trade of and we have no intentions of changing that anytime soon.
