What's the current value of a bare rolling 89 Mayfair shell with v5, with front a rear polly bushed subframes, front pair of hi-lows, no engine, doors, boot, glass, wiring, or interior, but a steel removable front end and bonnet. And if they don't sell a pair of metro 4 pots on the front.

Oh and No rust, as the full inner and out sills have been replaced along with the front floor corners, rear arches and battery box, the only new panels that will be required is a pair of a panels, as the current ones have been drilled for mk1 hinges. Does £400 to £500 sound about right?

Two picks of the underside to show it's not a rot box, It's also still down as being the original Grey on the v5 as I never got round to changing it, as I never got it on the road.

The welding does not look pretty but solid enough so i would punt that a bit higher to be honest.

The welding in some areas could probably do with tiding up, but the welding certainly isn't as bad as some you see then slapped over with underseal. Although I'm sure I could replace the floors with some sides to an old fridge and sheet metal them and slap on some over sills if it means it would sell for more. Plus the welding on the sills and floors is either under the car or under carpets. Plus the original project was never meant to be a concourse show trailer queen, just a sold usable mini with a decent engine. Witch I'm keeping, unless someone wants to stump up the £700 it cost for me to rebuild the 998.

I think blacktulip is right

Looks like a good solid shell with all the hard work done

Nice project for someone for reasonable money

I agree with 800ish. If you gave a link to the project showing the work the right person would be willing to pay that as you'll pay a lot more for that to be done in a garage etc.

There is a project thread kicking around witch hasn't been updated for a few years, so I don't know if any of the pics still work. So the only pics I have are as fully built, as until I can get it out of the garage and things tided up (funny how much space a disassembled mini can take up) I can't take any decent current pits and list it properly.

As from these pics, its now minus an engine and gear box, front brakes, wheels (I need some tatty ones to keep it rolling) bumpers, grill, lights, wiring, doors, glass except the front windscreen, interior and boot lid. So is just a stripped shell, with front and rear subframes and drum brakes hubs on the front, removable steel front (needs work) and bonnet.

Once I have got round to taking some decent current pics, I'll probably price it somewhere in the middle of what's been suggested. Witch is still more than I was offered last time for the completed car, with minor work needed to finish and no mot (hasn't been on the road for the last 10 years)
