hey guys, 

I've just picked up an air conditioning kit this evening after coming across it on eBay.

 

not sure if I paid a fair price for it or not so I'm looking for a valuation. 

 

it is a complete unit from a spi car so.

> compressor, evaporator, hoses, engine mounts, pipework, switches

 

basically all the bits you need to fit to a mini. 

 

anyone got a clue for the price? as I haven't the foggiest, I will put some photos up tomorrow when I remove it from the car boot.

You must have been happy with it to buy it.....(WHY)???

Bit late now to Ponder if you've got a good deal or been ripped off?

But Why do you want air-con (if your in the UK)??

well its bought now either way, just wondering if I got a good deal as I did zero research prior to purchasing it. Reason being my car already has a different engine in it to make it more modern, therefore a bit of ac when its warm would be nice. It also de humidifies the air when running and as we all know minis can be a bit moist internally so may have a side effect of drying the car up slightly but that I am not sure of completely.

As you can see it's in very good condition, removed from a import mini a week ago and is still all greasy from the fluid. I've put it together on the lawn so you can see it is complete. The brackets are what it came withto attach to the car and the dash part and piping link the evaporator.

Got a jap spec mini with a/c ! Spi and it works great
