AROnline buy a £760 2008 Ford Mondeo 2.0 Ghia (210,000 miles on the clock) with a view to running it for the rest of the year. Will it go well, is this a good Bangernomics buy or will it end in tears?

I think it will go well, I have done this a few times, 1996 Volvo s40, was immaculate condition, ran it for two years with nothing other than a service. and sold on for the same money, and purchased a  2001 saab convertible last month, 140K miles, full history, just replace the hydraulic rams for the hood (85 quid on ebay) and the car is fantastic, cheep top down summer fun all for less that £700 quid. Good luck with the bangernomics

£760 payed too much for that. I've got 2003 ford mondeo ghia SCI with only 73,000. For the pricely sum of £400
