The 'Mini' badged version goes for around £250 on eBay

They did however fit this with a Rover badge to the Rover 25/45 and an MG badge for the TF around the same time.  These versions go for around £50-100

The stereo is actually a Blaukpunkt XQE 100 380 and was also fitted in the BMW around the same era.  I think a lot of the Rover badged ones were rebadged (little sticky M series badge over the top) by BMW owners as a cheaper alternative.

If you find one make sure it has the end caps as these tend to go missing.  There is a guy who is also remaking these and selling them on eBay as they are about £20 each from BMW.

Does anyone have a genuine mini cd43? I managed to get hold of a genuine one (I think) but the wiring and connectors off the back are totally different to my stock mini oem tape player. Just wondered if anyone had a photo of the connectors for their cd43?
Thanks

Hi, as it was a BMW head unit the connectors on the late Rover cars supplied with this unit are BMW.  This CD43 was however supplied with a converter lead to change it to ISO so that it would fit the later standard mini radio loom.  If you have have a 90's or early 2000 mini then the connector will be ISO.  You can get them off ebay like link below.  You might see them cheaper but you need to make sure the connectors are the correct way around as lots are for sale to replace BMW mini head units for ISO.
