I've taken the plunge and booked my old girl (94 Cooper) in for repairs and a respray. She's still factory BRG, but I've never fully been taken on the shade. I'm thinking either another version of BRG or the almond green used on the >96 models. What are people's thoughts. Should I stick with what I've got or twist with the almond green? Also, I've not had a car sprayed before, is there anything I should know or optional extras that I should consider?

If you have a colour change then it's far more work and ideally fully stripped to paint under bonnet, inside boot and car interior,

What colour Mini do you want? I agree its a lot more effort doing a full repaint colour swap, but then, if you like it, why not? Have no regrets, your Mini, do what makes you happy.

I think thr plan is to strip her to a rolling shell for the repairs.

I like almond green and Yukon grey -- basically something in keeping with the age of the car, but a bit different. That said, I've really not decided what to do.
