Afternoon all. Technically I'm not a Mini owner, just the devoted father who's daughter has gone and bought a 998 as her first car really I'm just the one with the full set of spanners, although this could be called into question as I drive and maintain a Land Rover so willingly taking on a mini to care for as well ... yeah ' nuf said

Welcome on here Mr. Boatman.

You will enjoy working on a Mini. It is so small and light after a Landie. I also have a Land-Rover - a 1997 Discovery 300Tds. I tow my Cooper 'S' on a trailer behind it and use it as a 'van' a lot of the time.

Good luck with the 998.

Thanks ukcooper, but don't put project ideas in my head (just yet!)
