It was only Edd's technical side that motivated me to watch it. I hope Edd can find a new slot and carry on presenting without too many commercial endorsements.

Genuinely gutted about this! I only really watch the show to watch Ed working on stuff and I'm sure I'm not alone there. Hopefully he'll be back with something of his own, even a YouTube series would be great.

Not a big fan of that ant guy, when watching love of cars he kind of grated on me a bit.
Ed always came across as a nice guy and like others have said, he made it worthwhile watching.

The usual dumbing down of a successful British TV programme for USA tv.......sadly the same thing happened to Mark Evans and 'The Car is Born' series a few years ago.
This was Mark Evans reply below to an email asking if he had thought about doing 'A Mini is Born'
"I have received loads of emails from fans of my Is Born shows asking what's next. Sadly, Discovery Real Time have said that its audience isn't after my kind of workshop series any more, so there are no new projects on the horizon. Really sorry. I would love to do more......
