Anstead in that video reminds me of Keith Lemon when he dons his Mark Wright mask.

The usual dumbing down of a successful British TV programme for USA tv.......

On this side of the pond, we are more interested in the "reality" part that anything else. So, I am waiting for Discovery to combine WD with "Naked and Afraid" to attract more viewers. Just think of Mike... :X

I liked the way Edd presented things in the later shows. In the UK shows, there were cars that we never see here making it very interesting. Mike's dealing, Meh.

Reality though? Most of what we see of US reality programs are fabricated nonsense.. e.g. Gold rush

You are 100% correct. They are everything but real. They are made along the lines to hype up the "drama". If there is any "reality" involved is pure coincidence.

I watched the wheeler dealer outtakes the other day. It was refreshing to realise that experts like Ed china still lose their head when something goes irritatingly wrong on a car haha

Mike Brewer's family getting death threats over Edd leaving?!  What kind of pond-life would do that?

All blown out of proportion. This unfortunately allows the pond life out there and the keyboard warriors to vent their spleen over something about nothing because A:- they have no social skills other than to threaten someone via a keyboard and B:- They are probably 10 years old either actually or mentally (no disrespect to the poor unfortunate people who do suffer from a mental disorder through no fault of their own)

Utter cobblers, its a tv show, get over it, i'm sure Ed and Mike will and good luck to both of them.

That's a real shame. As someone who likes to play with cars I always appreciated the episodes that were more technical. My favourite is probably the Amphicar one, because they're super rare and unusual, and Edd had to do a lot of welding, and his work was good. Those bits are the best bits of the show. Who wants to watch Mike piss about making deals?!

Funny how there's few threads on here about the 'wheeler dealer minis' and all the 'good' work thats gone into them

I'm sure other forums have there own threads about the other cars featured...seems a pattern

I like (or used to) like WD, just another car program, it was fun

A lot of fans here though, everyone soon forgets all the niggles on the car eh once its done?  :whistling:
