My front shocks were replaced less than a year ago. However I am almost certain that the cheapest ones possible were fitted.

While I'm replacing the wheel bearings (prepare for a hail of questions on that!), I was wondering if it was worth spending some money on better shocks?

I am looking for mostly comfort but you know, not too stately.

Nothing particularly. I just wondered if it was worth upgrading. I've seen shocks that cost a fortune.

The suspension is riding low again, too. It seems to sink on its own

That has nothing at all to do with the shocks.

You should be looking at a new set of rubber cones not shocks.

Maybe the car has hilos fitted already? if so you can raise the ride height

I shouldn't have mentioned the suspension. Perhaps I will post it in another topic.

But the car is on 'modern' suspension ie it doesn't have those donut things. Apparently.

It's been raised before but sunk again. Somehow both sides sunk together
