I put brand new original spec rods in my 1330 build and no issues

Nothing wrong with any of them, but for a road engine which you may want to do may 1000's of miles then use what a road engine should have... Competition does not necessarily mean better

the standard rods that came out will be going back in to my build, so long as they check out ok
