hi all,

so my car will be back from the paint shop in a couple of weeks and will be outside my house whilst i refit everything. I'm hoping to get all the glass etc back in ASAP so that its pretty much water tight, but in the mean time (and actually for the long term) i want to get a decent cover to put on it to protect it. however with nice fresh paint I want to make sure I don't get something that's going to cause the paint to react, or scratch it etc, so I'm looking for recommendations on outdoor covers that are paintwork friendly!

Uk Car Covers,  i have a tailored mini one from them, very good and very reasonable, had it on for 6 months through horrible winter weather 2015 and it did budge.

Rent yourself a garage though, so worth it

agreed.

I've actually got planning permission for a garage but not in a position to build it just yet! i also have a garage at a house i rent out which i usually keep the mini at for 'storage' but its not really feasible to work on it there hence the need for it to be at home for a while until i get it all back together at least.

I've always used the cover zone ones, monsoon or stormforce but I'm going to try one of the A-SD ones for my Morris minor when it comes out of the garage finally! I've heard good things about them and they are cheaper than the cover zone ones.
