Hi there i am looking to reiwre my fog light due to a likely break in the wire.

 

what i need to know is what type i.e(thin wall?) and what amperage rating will i need,

 

any wiring gurus out there who can help please.

if it makes any difference i have a 1993 carb'd mini, non cooper.

i have found this in the right colour of blue/orange aswell

its pvc cable with a rating of 8.75amps, anyone know the draw for the fog lamp?

18 Ga. (or your 8.75 amp rated wire) will do the job and will handle your fog light easily unless it's over 100 Watts which is unlikely.

Same, as long as it is going to its own earth point, ie not shared with anything else.
