Hi all ,
Can I put a splitter on fuel pipe return , or return fuel got to go straight back into fuel tank

You can T it into the low pressure side of the feed or weld a pipe on the tank for the return.

You don't want to weld a pipe to the fuel tank as they can explode, even more dangerous when empty than full of fuel. You can split the return but I don't know why you would want to unless you are thinking of fitting a exhaust flamer!

Well you need a fuel line from fuel pump to regulater , then from regulater back to the t piece back round , this is right .?  image.jpeg   54.54K   49 downloads

The plumbing will work ok, but the pump won't work in that position. It's gravity fed, so needs to be mounted level or below the bottom of the tank.

Really easy solution is to use an mpi tank with the pump inside it. Dead neat!

Yeah thought that but was advised the pumps fail quite frequent , that was from mini specialist !

That sounds like balls to me, they are a generic pump, basically the same as any modern in tank pump,

So fuel pump is in , regulator is in , car turns over , do I need a relay for the fuel pump or is it ok to come off ignition

I would add a relay,

100% wire it via a relay. Also look at fitting an inertia switch to kill the pump in the event of an accident

I guess you could, though you'd have to wire an inline fuse , would be nearer run from a switched source at the fusebox. Ensure it remains live during cranking.
