Years ago I had a Mini and I've been trying to find/buy the gearknob I had in it.

I assumed it was a fairly run of the mill part but I can't find one.

 

It was styled similar to the cooper 500 gearknob, but instead of the shift pattern on top it had the green Mini Logo inset into the top.

 

 

I can find the Cooper 500 style knob easy enough, I've even found a solid ali knob with the Mini logo inset, but I can't find the exact one I had.

 

This is the closest I've found, but it's not got the Cooper 500 style.

Is it really easy to find and I'm just being stupid?

 

I wondered if it was part of the billet interior brightwork set you can get, as my old car had all that stuff.

i used to have one for while, about 10 years ago.

 

im sure i bought it at a show but cant remember who from. it was not part of a set.

 

EDIT: actually it would be very easy to machine the recess into one with the shift pattern (but then i have access to a CNC mill)

found this image, but its from a website in miami !!!

the logo is actually a lot smaller than the standard ones...

I have, got one, and I put it to one side specifically for you!

However I then moved house so I am unsure where exactly I put it!!

I do have a strong inkling that it is in the car though!
