Don't forget you need to make sure the injectors are not too large. One of the biggest problems we found with the larger injectors is, they are open for a shorter time and therefore are more difficult to control especially at high revs. A smaller injector opens for longer and the fueling measure is easier for the injector to control and therefore more accurate. It may sound counter intuitive but its down to the time taken opening and closing the injector compared to the open time of the injector. The other area we looked at was the spray pattern. Not all injectors spray in a conical pattern and by rotating the injectors through 90 degrees with gained another 4 bhp.

Smoother running, mappable, more power, better emissions!

Mappable, I agree. Smoother running and better emissions than a stock MPI injection system? From a wet manifold injection system? That's a hard claim to believe (especially about better emissions.)

Now if it's a comparison with a modified MPI injection system, then all the claims make sense to me. Any current modification to the MPI injection system retaining the factory ECU will be something of a bodge and could well be (probably likely to be) inferior to the SC unit in smoothness and even emissions.

My emmisions where worse after fitting the sc kit but that's more to do with my tuned set up and generally a series like to be a little rich in my experience BUT the emmisions can be easily controlled via the software mapping

I would say that one of the most important things is to pick a unit that you can install (if that is the case) and that your chosen tuner is familiar with. The most important thing is getting a good tune that works with your car and that is the most easiestly acheived via tuner knowing the ins and outs of the system.
