I've been doing some reading up on people's opinions on the best primer to use. Going on to bare metal. Best seems to be lechler 29107
Any comments on it from on here? Or indeed better ideas....

How about Zinga first, followed by a good epoxy?

+1 on Octoral

Octoral is part of the Valspar corporation, excellent primer and paint.

Personal preference is Lechler epoxy - Octoral surfacer - Octoral or prospray basecoat and debeers clear,

Has anybody experience with Epoxy 421 from Rustbuster?  I like the idea of it not absorbing moisture like other primers if left unpainted.  Which sounds sensible for most home restorers who cant always work at shop speed - at least that is very true for myself that only gets a weekend once in a while.
