Hi turbo fans, I'm gathering parts for my 998 turbo rebuild and I'm wondering if there's any specific donor vehicle people get there turbos off. I'm after a Garrett gt15 for the 998 but I've seen they are fitted to loads of different cars and some with slightly different ports on.
Any advice would be much appreciated!!

The turbo your looking at is fitted to a Vauxhall Zafira 2.0 DTi. They have a normal wastegate but use a vacuum actuator. They are also used on other diesel engines with pressure actuators on and I believe that these are used on the 1.9 tdi Peugeots before the HDi's came along.

There's a few different GT15 turbos 44,48,49. Some have a triangular 3 bolt flange, but one of the 44's has a 4bolt flange and is the same spec as the Renault 5 T2. This would be good for up to 130-140hp on a 998 at a guess.
