Woah not been on here for ages so playing catch up.

My plastdip lasted well. Over a year it lasted and only started to peel on the door handles and bit of heavy movement but in hindsight it probably wasn't the best idea to do the handles!

I've just peeled it all off as needed some bodywork on the front so thought I'd just take the lot off.

In terms of a quick, easy job that anybody can do then it's spot on. Or failing that as a paint protector it works well too. It just peels right off and leaves the surface underneath exactly as was before.

Hi,

At a place I worked they built Vans for utility companies and the like. A lot of them get wrapped, there's teams of people doing them. They are hard wearing and last 5 years with good quality materials and correct installation.

Cheers  :proud:

From what I've gleaned, you need to pay for decent materials (3M or similar) and by the time you've brought it and paid someone to do it or help you then you're a reasonable way towards getting someone to paint it for you.

Hi,

My brother had his R8 wrapped in white, cost £1800 on a drive in drive out basis.

Cheers  :proud:
