Hi all,

I'm trying to work out how much my mini might be worth? I know this is a difficult question as I guess its worth however much someone wants to pay for it. But I trying to get a ruff idea.

Its a Rover MPI 2000 (V reg) John Cooper LE - Brooklands green - red leather interior. Its In pretty good condition, a few minor bits or rush around rear windows and the headlining could do with being done. its done 100,120 miles runs well and just passed its MOT?

thanks

Ben

Take a look at the sold prices on ebay for equivelant cars,
check car classfieds online, see what people are asking/paying etc
that will give you a rough guide

have had a look on ebay and auto trader. Seems very difficult to work out what they actually sell for. They seem to range in price from £3000 to over £8000.

It was a late model special edition, 301 were produced so it's quite rare and sought after if in good condition.

If you have lots of paperwork with it that will always help with a sale, stuff like the original sales receipt and stuff are what collectors look for.

Stick some pictures up to show the condition of the bodywork and stuff to help gauge the condition.

Looks like a nice original example. Even with the higher mileage I think you would get over £4K on eBay. Put it as an auction with a reserve of what you would like as a minimum and see how it goes, the LE's are really popular. Looks lovely.

I'd say a minimum of £5k. Nice example. Mileage doesn't mean much these days on mini's imo.
