Are you going to Stanford Hall VW show next weekend? I think there were a couple of resto companies there showing what they can do. Also there will be loads of owners who could probably recommend people

I think last year there were over 100 split screen buses at Stanford as they had their annual meet there as well. To be honest I am not a massive VW fan but a group of us go and it is a good show. I have a T4 Westy so new compared to a lot that are there!

There is also a chap on Practically Classics forum who recently restored one and posted a lot of pics of the progress on that forum. http://www.practical...?p=68144#p68144 ... goes by the moniker of "Grumpy Northerner" ... he's also worked on a classic Mini of two in his time I believe.

Neither will be cheap but you've got both Westgate and To-Ta about 20 miles and 6 miles away respectively.

To-Ta is Fuzz Townsend's new business (as in CarSOS and Practical Classics fame) and Westgate is his old company that used to do CarSOS work.

There is also the VW Camper Company in Banbury http://www.vwcamperc...storations.html

Just to add, I've never used any of these, but just trying to assist!
