I'm looking at getting a stage one kit for my 1098 and I was looking for recommendations. Is the mini spares with the rc40 the one to go for ?

I've got the Minispares Stage 1 Kit on my Mk3 998 (http://minispares.co...|Back to search)

The constituent parts are all good quality, but I advise that once you've fitted the kit, you take your car for a rolling road session to get it set up correctly, so that you extract the most from the kit.  The minispares stage 1 kit comes with an AAU carb needle, but my 998 ran better with a AAA needle after a rolling road session.

Had my stage 1 kit with twin box RC40 for nearly ten years on one of my cars... still going fine but the manifold gasket needs doing every couple of years because the exhaust manifold flange warps with time.

I'd recommend it though, mine came from Minispares and I wouldn't use anything else personally.
