Hi guys,
So I've just bought an old Jaeger tachometer from eBay and I haven't got a clue how to wire it! The seller thought that the post with the two connectors went to the coil and the other was an earth but he wasn't 100% sure and I don't want to break it by attaching things wrong! If anyone knows for sure that would be very helpful!

Yeah, the post with the two connectors on goes to the negative side of the coil

 

The other is indeed a ground.
