Hi all I just wondering can a 99 Mini Cooper with multi point fuel injection be remapped is there a big gain and do I need to do any other things to engine it's just standard at minute

Not really worth it on normally aspirated engines as the gains are very small.

Would I gain more by changing exhaust and fitting k&n is there any other small things I could do without getting two deep in engine?

That would certainly give you more noise.

Save up a little more and change the head. That will give you a real increase in performance.

The ecu can't be remapped

It depends where you want to stop. A head change will certainly give you an increase in performance but to fully benefit you need a cam change as well.
