R1 Archless

No reason I can see that you couldn't run a promotive kit with 7.5 discs and 4.5x10" rims. The skinny tyres would be a little scary mind!

Hi

I would like know if it is possible to fit an R1 engine conversion while keeping the body archless.

I have tried to find some information online but with no luck.

This is more of a general enquiry out of curiosity than a plan at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

I was going that route originally and the answer is yes but the width of the wheels as mentioned will be the biggest issue. 4.5" Cooper S rims will be fine. 4.5" will take 165 width tyres.
